In collaboration with Focus Features and Robert Eggers’ Nosferatu, Heretic Parfum has summoned something otherworldly—an olfactory offering steeped in shadow and myth.
Nosferatu Eau de Macabre. The name alone sounds like a whisper in a dark corridor. And yes, it lived up to every dark expectation.
At $125, you’re not just purchasing a scent. You’re inviting a presence. A ritual. This isn’t some perfumed trinket tossed in a flimsy carton. This is a relic.
Unveiling begins with a black box—somber, elegant, and branded with the chilling promise: Heretic x Nosferatu. It’s only a slipcover, but it sets the tone like the first creak of a coffin lid.
Then comes the true reveal.
Newspapers.
Six pages, aged in tone and artfully designed, speaking to a world fascinated by the undead. A dossier of dread: stills from the film, musings on humanity’s romance with the vampire myth, and the eerie synergy between Heretic and Nosferatu.
I couldn’t let them gather dust—these became wall art in my living room. Testaments. Shrines, really. (Thanks, Eric.)
And then—Heretic doesn’t stop there. As if to test your loyalty, they send a bonus: a sample of Coeur Noir.

And oh… betrayal. Because somehow, Coeur Noir bewitched me even more.
But then—the centerpiece.
The bottle. Stark and exquisite. Adorned with the Nosferatu insignia, capped with what could easily belong to some clandestine order. It’s less a bottle, more a totem. When it’s empty, it will still haunt my shelf.
The perfume opens with whispers of lilac and ambrette—soft, ghostlike. The heart is damp earth and deathless blooms: petrichor, violet absolute, orris concrete, and cypriol. And then, a final exhale of vegan ambergris, oud, and labdanum—a base that clings to your skin like a memory you can’t quite place, but know you never wanted to leave.
It is romantic. Ethereal. A scent pulled from the grave of a love that never died.
My only lament? Its fleeting nature. Nosferatu disappears too soon, like its namesake at sunrise. Coeur Noir lingers longer, darker. A mystery, perhaps. Alchemy, or simply skin chemistry?
All I know is this: Heretic x Nosferatu wasn’t just a purchase. It was an encounter.
One I won’t soon forget.
If you’re brave enough to summon it, I’ll help you find Nosferatu Eau de Macabre and Coeur Noir.
Heretic crafts natural, non-gendered fragrances imbued with the healing soul of botanicals. But make no mistake—this one has fangs.
